If a customer used any more data than was available in their plan, their internet was slowed down for the rest of the month.
If you were on a 50GB standard nbn Sky Muster plan and one of your children downloaded a 50GB PlayStation game update on the first day of the month, you would have to wait another 30 days until you could use the internet at full speed again. Metered activity is data usage that counts towards your data limit and is limited by how much metered data is available on your Reachnet nbn Sky Muster Plus plan. Metered activity on Reachnet nbn Sky Muster Plus includes video streaming, VPN use and all unclassified data usage.

The main difference between the two products is that Reachnet nbn Sky Muster Plus gives you a whole bunch of unmetered activities that don’t count towards your data limit no matter what Sky Muster Plus plan you choose to get. Standard nbn Sky Muster doesn’t have any activities that don’t count towards your data, so once you run out, you will be slowed down for the rest of the month.
