nbn is implementing a program of work which will upgrade the current Satellite Mobile Termination System (SMTS). This upgrade is expected to increase the stability of the nbn network.
During the allocated change period, 12:00 21/02/2020 to 06:00 21/02/2020, nbn will deploy the new software and reset the SMTS chassis twice to update the new configuration.
End users on the Satellite network in the area may lose signal for up to 210 minutes while the upgrade is being completed.
